What is remedial massage?
Remedial massage is a method of soft tissue manipulation that is a aimed at remedying common muscular skeletal complaints and tension.  The therapist will often look at your posture in standing, active and resting positions to help her plan an effective treatment.  Once someone has found relief for the initial problem they will often continue with regular remedial massage treatments to help keep their tissues supple and some way to tension free.  It is always difficult to say how many sessions a person needs and  every one has individual needs and complexities, however you should hope to see an easing of a relatively recent injury or pain in 2 to 3 sessions.
